Scuro Candle Holder

SCURO — meaning “dark” or “without light” in Italian, a nod to its purpose as the bearer of light — pairs a simple, brutalist form with HAMREI’s textured technique. Firelight plays against the metal’s texture as wax drips down the stepped surface. The solid textured bronze is hand-coated in black finish, revealing the gold bronze beneath only once a candle has been removed.
