This interim policy applies to hamrei.com until our online shop launches, when it will be replaced by a full version. Last updated: 13 October 2026.

What we collect and why

We collect only what we need, and we do not sell your information. This site does not yet take payments or hold customer accounts.

• Your name, email address and message, when you contact us about the collection, the studio, press or professional enquiries. We use them to reply to you, on the basis of your request and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
• Your email address (and name, if given), when you sign up to the newsletter. We use it to send news about the collection, projects and events, on the basis of your consent.
• Your IP address, device and browser details and the pages you visit, when you browse the site. We use them to understand how the site is used and to improve it, on the basis of your consent.

Who we share it with

Only with the service providers that help us run the website and our newsletter, acting on our instructions, and where the law requires it. If we are ever involved in a sale or reorganisation of the business, data may be passed to the new owner. Where data is processed outside the EU/EEA, we rely on safeguards recognised under the GDPR.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails: 24 months after our last exchange. Newsletter details: until you unsubscribe. Analytics data: 14 months.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics to see how visitors find the site and which pages are most popular, and social sharing cookies that let you share our content. These are only set with your consent, which you can change or withdraw at any time. They do not give us access to your social media accounts.

Other websites

Our site links to other websites, such as Instagram and Pinterest. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time, for example by clicking “unsubscribe” in any newsletter. Email info@hamrei.com and we will reply within one month. You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).

Changes

We will replace this policy with a full version when our online shop launches. Any update will be posted here with a new date at the top.
